Marc Ecko is coming out with a new pair of MP3 gear dubbed the Ecko Zip Earbuds, which is quite different than what's currently on the market.

As the name suggests, the Ecko Zip Earbuds are a pair of earphones with a zipper design. In other words, instead of a functioning cable chord, a functioning zipper will take its place. The benefits of this design? It'll help eliminate the mess of tangled wires that most people deal with on a day-to-day basis. Simply zip up the chord when the earphones aren't in use and all is good. These are in-ear style as well, which means it should eliminate most background noise.

It'll be interesting to see how well the Ecko Zip Earbuds do on the market. With fashion and tech in mind, these should be a hit among urban stylists. Stats for Zipper MP3 Headgear Trending: Older & Chilly
