'Don't Worry Be Happy' is a new writing app that will delete your work is you are not in a good mood. While the idea of losing progress due to a frowning face may not sound all that appealing, the program actually helps to enforce more positive writing experiences.

Don't Worry Be Happy is the brainchild of engineer and artificial intelligence researcher Samim Winiger. Winiger created the app as an emotion-enforcing program that only allows users to produce work when they are in a good mood. The app works by analyzing the user's facial expressions and then responding accordingly. This means that if the user does not crack a smile, the program will delete all of their progress. Although it may sounds like a strange way to boost one's productivity, Winiger explains that "during any creative process our mental state is the single biggest factor for creative success."

With many consumers interested in using technology to boost their productivity, this app provides a clever way to make sure that things get done.
