American singer, rapper, and songwriter Dominic Fike is set to take Fortnite's new soundstage on September 12th, giving players the opportunity to take part in a live performance experience while maintaining safe social distancing.
The in-game show is accessible to all players who have access to Fortnite's online experience, however in 'Party Royale' mode, they won't have to worry about taking part in any combat or building while they enjoy the performance. With this new in-game addition, Fortnite aims to appeal to the many players who've had to sacrifice large-scale social events to stay safe during the pandemic—bringing players together in a relaxed setting where they can kick back and hang out with their friends.
Fike's premiere performance is set to go live on September 12th at 5PM ET, with two encore performances scheduled for later in the evening.
