Every kid and kid at heart should do a DIY popsicle stick project. It's not only good for the creativity, but it gives an excuse to truly let the inner child loose.

Your inner child will be super stoked to play with these Popsicle stick AT-STs as made famous in The Empire Strikes Back. That would be the second Star Wars movie for the uninitiated. The instructions were put together by user popsicle_mini-models. Each model is about 3 inches tall upon completion.

While it's not something that is listed in the instructions, any true DIY Popsicle stick hobbyist worth their salt will paint the completed models. Either that, or go out in the winter snow and set them on fire in a glorious recreation of the battle of Hoth from the movie. Either way, there's a whole lot of Sci-Fi fun to be had with this project! Stats for DIY Sci-Fi Vehicle Models Trending: Older & Mild
