Diplomático Rum Adds a '2007 Single Vintage' to its Prestige Range

Diplomático Rum has expanded its Prestige Range with the launch of its new '2007 Single Vintage' rum. According to a recent press release, the new expression will be distributed in the UK by Specialty Brands.
The 2007 Single Vintage will join the brand's Diplomático Single Vintages, which currently includes years 2000 to 2005. The expression was made by the rum brand's master blenders and has been aged for 12 years in single malt casks and ex-bourbon barrels.
“With a bright dark amber colour, the 2007 Single Vintage opens with harmonious notes of ripe red fruits accompanied with aromas of vanilla, spices and chocolate that provide a delicate and subtle aromatic balance," said Nelson Hernandez, master blender for Diplomático Rum.
