Tesla is Beginning its Diner and Drive-In Movie Supercharger

Tesla will have a new Supercharger station with a unique design twist as Elon Musk gets the permit to start creating the Diner and Drive-In Movie Supercharger. It imagines a retro 50s-style station that will be created at 100I W. Santa Monica Boulevard with a two-story tall structure. There, it will have a diner with 32 supercharging outlets and more seating at a roof deck level.
There will also be a drive-in movie theater at the location, which has been teased by Musk himself a few years ago. Leading the design is architectural studio Stantex and PCL is in charge of constructing the location. Approval of the project by the LA Department of Building and Safety took place on July 18th.
