The Nod Lamp is a self-adjusting dimming lamp designed by Simon Frambach that is able to adjust in ambience based off of a tiling shade. As the shade is tilted forward, the light decreases in brightness giving off a soft glow.

Unlike a traditional table lamp, the Nod Lamp is much more minimalist and simple in shape and form. The light's structure is made out of aluminum with a slimming silhouette complete with a rounded base and matching shade. The shade features an adjustable tab that can be tilted upwards or downwards to adjust the light strength, rather than using a on and off switch. The action to adjust the light settings then becomes more intuitive for the consumer that experiments with the angle of the Nod Lamp shade in order to control the light.
