Dexia Towers' Lite Brite Display Tells Tomorrow's Weather

Many buildings have undergone an illuminating facelift before, but only Dexia Towers can boast the power of weather prediction. With its rainbow of 72,000 LEDs, a somewhat complex color-coding system informs passersby what climate to expect the next day.

Designed by lab-au, Dexia Towers’ weather prediction is so informative, in fact, that it broadcasts humidity, wind speed and precipitation. In an attempt to be eco-conscious, the building lights up for only 10 minutes every hour between sunset and midnight.
