In a wonderfully obvious way, Destination shampoo packaging appeals to the consumer based on their specific need for a specialized type of product. The buyer already knows that the purposes of conditioner and shampoo are to moisturize and wash your hair, but what these little cartons communicate is that they're ideal for taking while traveling.
Lina Sponberg and Linn Andersson collaborated on Stora Enso's competition to "recreate" the package for a cosmetic product. They chose to merchandize tiny cleanser cubes that are small enough to be packed in suitcases in trip-appropriate portions.
Folded white card protects these soaps and its their themed labels that make them unique. Destination shampoo packaging is marked with fill-in-the-blanks luggage tags that subtly detail the product inside.
