They look like structures from another planet and are built to last, so it’s no wonder that derelict power plants visually kick ass and are so appealing in a rundown-chic kind of way.

For example, in the UK there is a nuclear power plant in Dungeness which is just truly amazing to visit. This collection of images shows the diverse and visually appealing nature of these giant buildings which have been left to rot. Ironically, if these buildings had been kept in tip-top condition, I doubt they would have looked as fantastic as they do now.
