This rather brilliantly depressing dictionary is the order of the day for a Monday morning. Working on the principle of a normal cheery dictionary, this clearly has a much darker under current making it much more enjoyable and much more true to life than the more traditional "a is for apple" style.

Implications - Creatives often subvert traditional iconography to make a societal or political statement. In this example, the artist used a graphic dictionary similar to the ones young children read in primary school. By infusing witty, incisive social commentary into innocent, childlike illustrations, the artist achieves a jarring juxtaposition that forces readers to pay close attention.
