Cosentino presents its new Dekton Ukiyo light collection which is comprised of linear fluting structures defined by textured accents for a unique tactile look. It is made for both residential and commercial spaces and is designed with the help of Claudia Afshar. It is alls inspired by modern design and Japanese influence, embracing minimal themes and the present moment as Ukiyo means to 'live in the moment.'
Afshar explains “Playing with texture is timeless, and it is so important in all materials, not just fabric. I have always been inspired by the materials found in nature and making the spaces I design as comfortable, warm, and authentic as possible. Ukiyo is calming yet simplistic, and the colorways and fluting are romantic, but also contemporary and masculine to achieve balance.”
