Honda created a datalogging app that was created to provide drivers with in-depth information regarding their driving abilities. Honda's app is titled 'LogR,' and it has 15 different data points that it can share with users. The data points include lap times, acceleration, braking, steering and more. All of the data points are combined to provide users with an all-encompassing 'Driver Smoothness' score. The information can be accessed after the user's phone has been disconnected from the car, in order to ensure safety.
The app will be available for both iPhone and Android users, and it will be available during the spring. Honda's datalogging app will only be compatible with the 'Honda Civic Type R.'
