Brisbane-based photographer Danny McShane uses a compact camera to capture endless landscapes and free figures.

Danny McShane has an eye for natural beauty in figures and in the environment. His photographs focus on wide open spaces by the shore or in foggy forests. These settings often hold a single subject, who is naturally walking, gazing or simply standing. The subject's expressions are unexaggerated and unposed, and his or her apparel is simple and minimalist.

It seems as if Danny McShane is exploring the connection between humans and their environment. The composition of his snapshots suggest this, as his subjects will often appear off to one side and be very small while the immense environment surrounds them.

This selection of photography by Danny McShane is naturally beautiful.
