Announced last year, Roborace is the first of its kind -- revolving around driverless race cars. That's right, it's almost like a real life video game, one that involves the incredible imagination and expertise of Daniel Simon -- the designer behind the light cycles in Tron: Legacy. The resulting aesthetic is just as impressive, if not more so.

In regards to Daniel Simon's designs, The Verge writes, "The four-wheeled autonomous vehicles appear to be covered in sensors and look wickedly aerodynamic, with bodywork that covers up all the internals and massive openings around each axle." Daniel Simon's goal was to "to create a vehicle that takes full advantage of the unusual opportunities of having no driver without ever compromising on beauty." He definitely achieved that and more.
