Giant Interactive TV Remotes
World's Largest Remote Control Made From DDR Mats
Talented
This is one remote that you’ll never misplace—it’s simply too big to lose! Billed as the world’s largest remote, it’s a homemade device cleverly made from two PlayStation 2 “Dance Dance Revolution” mats.
The inventor explains on his website that he was inspired by a very large remote that he found at his local shopping mall. He was convinced he could do better—or, more appropriately, bigger—and this is what he came up with.
If you’re a couch potato, what a good way to do the thing you love, channel surfing, while still getting at least a little exercise! (A very little, obviously, but, hey, it all adds up.) It doesn’t appear to be for sale, but the creator offers step-by-step instructions, so if you’re technically inclined you can build your own.
Speaking of channel surfing: What if you could use the floor mat remote control concept, but make it in the shape of a surfboard! Now that would be cool!
