This is one remote that you’ll never misplace--it’s simply too big to lose! Billed as the world’s largest remote, it’s a homemade device cleverly made from two PlayStation 2 "Dance Dance Revolution" mats.

The inventor explains on his website that he was inspired by a very large remote that he found at his local shopping mall. He was convinced he could do better--or, more appropriately, bigger--and this is what he came up with.

If you’re a couch potato, what a good way to do the thing you love, channel surfing, while still getting at least a little exercise! (A very little, obviously, but, hey, it all adds up.) It doesn’t appear to be for sale, but the creator offers step-by-step instructions, so if you’re technically inclined you can build your own.

Speaking of channel surfing: What if you could use the floor mat remote control concept, but make it in the shape of a surfboard! Now that would be cool! Stats for Giant Interactive TV Remotes Trending: Older & Mild
