This amazing Dan Watson SafetyNet will benefit both the environment and the business world.

Dan Watson, an MA student at the Royal College of Art, has devised a genius product for fishermen. Called the SafetyNet, this futuristic fishing net is much more ethical then traditional ones. Small circular lighted holes speckle the net, allowing young fish to exit before being brought aboard. Traditional nets catch these young fish who are useless on the market, and are then thrown back into the sea dead.

Watson has studied species of fish to determine their behaviors, and built the net based on his findings. The location and brightness of the holes are suited to different young or endangered species.

The Dan Watson SafetyNet is an ethical ecological method that will benefit the planet and fishermen alike. Stats for Ethical Animal Nets Trending: Older & Chilly
