World Finer Foods has announced the launch of Cutting Vedge, a new plant-based meat alternative brand that uses artichoke as its primary ingredient. To start, the brand will deliver a range of frozen, artichoke-based "meat" products, including burgers, meatballs, Italian sliced sausage, and crumbles.
All of the products utilize artichokes from Reese, a vegetable brand also owned by World Finer Foods, and contain a mix of chickpea, quinoa, and spinach. As a result, these meat-free offerings are free from dairy, soy, gluten, and contain no GMOs.
