Form Us With Love Designs the Cubicle Furniture System

Design studio Form Us With Love presents the new Cubicle furniture system that aims to recreate the experience of having workers back to the walls in an open workspace. The studio worked together with Danish manufacturer +Halle to create Cubicle, which has launched during the 3 Days of Design festival in Copenhagen. It replicates the comfortable seat in an indoor workspace. It references some of the work by engineer Andrew Khoudi, who found that people prefer to sit with their backs to the wall, facing outward.
Co-founder of Form Us With Love, John Löfgren speaks about the project, noting that "In a lot of settings, the majority of the people want their back covered with the potential to overview the room, so we could relate to Andrew's research. We had a discussion about where you feel most productive and at the same time at ease. With all the easy, portable technology that is part of your toolbox today, we just want to offer a platform with the essentials for the user to feel comfortable in, either to do laptop-related work or have a tete-a-tete with a colleague."
