Pain-inducing shoes made the rounds at the fashion shows with such catwalk giants as Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, Gucci, Prada, Christian Dior, Rodarte, Emanuel Ungaro and Jimmy Choo making their contributions to the edgy fetish-inspired footwear extravaganza. There was a little bit of everything for the discriminating, bondage-loving woman including, says 2threads.com, “Studs, straps, spikes, dagger-like heels, black, patent leather, buckles, we’ll take it all.”  The sturdy skyscrapers are the perfect counterpoint to this fall’s weightless pieces. Fashionistas came out in droves during New York’s fashion week. Did every editor get the memo that only heels bordering on weapons were allowed in the tents?
