14 fart apps were released to the iPhone App Store. In one day. 14. One day. Now that Apple has eased up on what is acceptable in the iPhone App Store, developers are reaching new lows in iPhone apps. The first app with an age restriction was Amateur Surgeon, which has a disclaimer that indicates you must be 17 to download.

14 fart apps. One day.

The store was graced yesterday by apps with names like Fart Button, Mr. Poot!, iToot, iFart, iFartz, FartBox, Who Farted? Fart Keyboard, oh and don't forget WhoopieCushion and Whoopee Cushion (huge difference). When I saw that one of the opening scenes for Amateur Surgeon — a new iPhone game from the people behind the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim contained the line, 'Oh my God! I've killed a dead hobo!,' I knew this would be different from other iPhone games. (venturebeat)
