Little Pebbles' 'Crookie 2.0' Innovates on the Crookie Trend

Little Pebbles, a Toronto, Canada-based cafe and bakery, recently announced the 'Crookie 2.0' The company took the original Crookie recipe that took the world by storm and remixed it in a way that more evenly blends the flavors of the croissant and cookie. The original Crookie effectively looks like a croissant, but is either filled with or topped with baked cookie dough. Little Pebbles' Crookie 2.0, on the other hand, borrows its design from Cinnamon Buns. The bakery weaves croissant dough and cookie dough in a dual-layered spiral, which perfectly balances the flavors of both baked goods.

The restaurant did not state when or if the Crookie 2.0 would be available for consumers to purchase in stores, and it does not appear on the restaurant's online menu. However, it is possible that the item is a local-only purchase, so consumers can contact their local Little Pebbles location to inquire.
