The Consistent-Motion Ruler Extends to Draw a Line of Any Size

Frustrated by the limited length of rulers, designer Myeongjin Kim decided to created a limitless one called the 'Consistent-Motion Ruler.' Though small in length, the ruler was designed to span any length of paper. Instead of having to completely move your ruler to keep drawing a line, Kim's ruler allows you to stay on track at all times. Though the lines it draws can be infinite, the ruler itself is only 15 cm.

Kim accomplished this impossible feat by designing the ruler to have extendable parts. Using two fingers, the Consistent-Motion Ruler allows you to inch it forward like a snail. As a result, you can draw a perfectly straight line for as long as you want. Stats for Infinite-Length Rulers Trending: Older & Buzzing
