The Concreta Chair by Brazilian designer Rodrigo Almeida continues the designer’s incorporation of Brazilian culture into industrial design. Exactly what aspect of Brazilian culture this eclectic chair represents is lost on me, but then again, I have (sadly) never been to Brazil. Almeida used wood, rope and fabric to construct the Concreta Chair. The seeming hodge-podge of materials used to compose the Concreta Chair may comment on the vibrant cultural diversity that exists in Brazil. References: rodrigoalmeidadesign, yatzerFiled In: |
