A few frills here and there, a well-placed ribbon, and the Pacer musical suit will easily turn into must-have evening attire for hard core ravers. This concept suit responds to electrical pulses created by the body’s natural movements; it amplifies them and, with the help of sensors attached to the muscles, turns those electrical impulses into sound. This makes it possible, in theory, to produce harmonious rhythms and melody.

Tuvie notes that the Pacer suit also has therapeutic uses. It “has enormous stimulating power and it can be quite efficiently used in therapeutic treatments where ever is necessary to stimulate muscle workout and movement of the body as a whole,” the site says.

Designers: Danilo Zizic and Nikola Knezevic

Each impulse is goes through the sensors via amplifiers (boxes on the back) to control panel where we can control volume, type of sound, select rhythm to follow…With this suit it is possible to produce harmonious rhythm and melody by dancing. These sounds can be heard through headphones connected to the control panel (box on the front) or through the speakers connected to the control panel by infrared rays. (tuvie)

Imagine this for a whole band or marching band alone. Wow. Neat. I have NO musical talent (maybe via MIDI).
