Casper provides compact foam mattresses that have been making an impact on the sleep industry in the United States since April. Based in New York City, the start-up recently launched in Canada, bringing its one-of-a-kind mattresses all packed nice and neat in boxes the size of mini fridges. Although its unique blend of memory foam and latex might be a shining feature for some, others will love the direct-to-consumer business model as well.

The compact foam mattresses is easy to deliver and receive. In regards to the company's expansion onto Canadian soil, Casper co-founder and chief executive Philip Krim says, "Our plan was to expand into Canada in 2015, but we had an overwhelming amount of interest from Canadians asking if we could ship it to them, so we’re starting now."
