Most people probably don't consider that taking a bath has its risks, and for most people, it doesn't. The Comfort Bath does, however, cater especially well to those who might need a safer environment, such as infants and the elderly.

Vergillio Serra came up with this concept for a freestanding jacuzzi that is ergonomically optimized for adults. It dips down in two places in the base of the soaker so that your behind can feel supported and secure as you're seated. It keeps your knees slightly bent and your back upright so that even if you doze off, your head won't slump down below the surface.

Between the depressions in the basin is an unconventional faucet. It fills the Comfort Bathtub without any need for a notorious injury-causing tap. Furthermore, it's safe to bathe a baby in one of the shallow pools drawn and the potential to overflow the soaker is prevented by a gutter system.
