The 2nd Skin Exhibit opening night took place on 4/25/08 in San Francisco. The event is a celebration of clothing creativity. And a woman in a dress that generates power when she moves.” The 2nd Skin Exhibit has a futuristic, sort of burlesque-like vision where the artists featured challenge the standard notions of practical clothing. Materials include everything from re-purposed goods to glowing electrical supplies from the hardware store. To notice fashion is to begin decoding trends in art, culture and human expression.
