When Clint Eastwood made an appearance at the Republican National Convention last night, little did he know the media firestorm that would erupt from his speech and subsequent actions. After proclaiming that not all of Hollywood was announcing their conservative values -- or “hot doggin’ it,” if you will -- Eastwood went on to have a discussion with an empty chair that supposedly represented current President Barack Obama.
The Mitt Romney supporter made an interesting speech on job loss, his view on the wars and his idea of America heading forward. However, one of the most buzzed about topics that came out of the speech and Eastwood’s appearance was the chair scold that has led to a series of others “Eastwooding” it themselves with their own empty chairs.
