In contrast to the millions of web users eager to divulge the personal details of their lives, supermodel Claudia Schiffer is hesitant to reveal the most private aspects in her life. When approached about the publication of her personal biography, the German beauty confessed there were intimate aspects of her life she wanted to keep to herself.

“I’ve had a lot of offers but I just don’t feel ready yet. Everyone writes them when they are so young these days, and I don’t think the time is right for me,” she said.

“Plus you have to write about all these incredibly personal things. I’ve always been a very private person - but who knows? Maybe one day I’ll feel ready.”

Schiffer, 37, has turned down several requests, despite the assured popularity of her books. With the surge in reality shows and books about the modeling industry, there’s proven interest for these types of features.
