The Clamp Lamp by Product Tank is Modeled After a Push Puppet

By: Meghan Young - Published: • References: producttank.squarespace & core77
The Clamp Lamp by Product Tank is inspired by the classic wooden push puppet. Taking on the shape of various animals and characters, this toy boasts a button at the bottom on its base that when pushed completely collapses it. Taking a similar approach, the table lamp goes entirely limp at the depression of a lever. This allows the user to manipulate it in any way they desire. When the optimal position is achieved, pressing the lever back makes it rigid once again.

Improving on the traditional design of the Anglepoise light fixture, the Clamp Lamp by Product Tank features a simple tweak that could potentially make a vast difference. By bending whichever way it wants, it is able to shed light on very specific areas. Stats for Toy-Inspired Lighting Trending: Older & Mild
