Gustaf Westman is known for his colorful designs that are backed by various playful shapes and his latest design pushes boundaries -- the Chunky Spiky Cup challenges his usual designs. The classic Chunky Cup by Westman has garnered popularity over the years and it was followed by wavy mirrors, curvaceous lamps, and much more.
Westman explains, “The Chunky Cup is very cute and soft. [With the spiky cup] we were trying to do the opposite: to make something that you don't even want to touch. But maybe we failed because it's very nice to hold.” The Chunky Spiky cup follows a similar design language but is marked with spikes throughout. It comes in various tones including orange, green, pink, and purple.
