Can being a ridiculously popular luxury shoe designer have its downsides? If the Christian Louboutin Spring/Summer 2010 shoe collection is any indication it may be that after collaborating with so many designers on their fancy footwear you aren’t left with many ideas for your own eponymous collection.
Retro-inspired, color-blocked stilettos (including a pair of multicolored ‘70s style knee-high boots that beg the question, “what were they thinking?!”) and conservative, gilded, gold embroidered heels mark the Christian Louboutin Spring/Summer 2010 shoe collection.
While the collection might not be quite as boring as we seem to think it is, it’s not what we would have expected from Louboutin who has created so many imaginative, magical heels.
