The 'Spoon University' blog recently put together a recipe that uses chocolate pasta to turn a traditional entree into a sweet dessert. While pasta may seem like an unusual dessert option, this recipe is both decadent and delicious.

The recipe is made using dark chocolate linguine, sliced strawberries and chopped walnuts. The chocolate pasta gives the dish a soft texture and a rich chocolate taste, which is enhanced by the homemade chocolate sauce. Because the pasta needs to be cooked, the dessert can be served fresh from the pot. The pasta is then topped with fresh strawberries, chopped nuts and a dollop of whipped cream. The toppings add texture and prevent the dish from being overly sweet.

While it may sound bizarre, this decedent pasta dessert provides a unique way to indulge in dark chocolate.
