In terms of their style and presence, most haute couture supermodels do not have prominent and salient features that completely set them apart from their peers; that’s not the case with the much sought-after model Omahyra Mota Garcia. Born in the Dominican Republic, the 25-year-old androgynous-looking model has prominent tattoos, body piercings and a very edgy style that can be described as Gothic with a punk-chic twist. These images are from Indie Magazine’s Fall 2008 issue and were shot by Phillip Meuller.  Omahyra Mota is a Dominican model and actress. She made a name for herself in the fashion industry as a chic punk model. Mota has modeled for designers such as Bill Blass, Alexander McQueen, Cynthia Steffe, Fendi, Nina Ricci, Sean John, Baby Phat, Heatherette, Jean Paul Gaultier, Roca Wear, Samantha Treacy, and Jay McCarroll. Also, she was flown in especially by Gwen Stefani for L.A.M.B.'s show during New York's 2005 Fashion Week.
