Luxury Picnics - Moët & Chandon's $1,500 Picnic Kit
Every day we can find more people spending a lot of money in luxury sensations and a good example of it is this luxury picnic kit. If you want to spend $1,500 in one afternoon over the grass this is the best way to do it. Examples of extreme luxury experiences seem to be more popular day by day.
Picnics in Central Park will never be the same again thanks to Moët & Chandon. The bubbly brand has commissioned London-born illustrator Daisy de Villeneuve to reinvent the traditional picnic basket by designing a limited edition metallic gold leather Rosé tote with the tagline, “Don’t just picnic—Pink-Nic!” Fashioned as the ultimate accessory for urban fashionistas, the $1,500 structured bag, which features a silky pink lining and is now available exclusively at Barneys New York, holds all the essential ingredients for a summer soirée, including a magnum of Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial, four tulip flutes, and two lacquered picnic boxes filled with an assortment of savory and sweet treats—from mini lobster wraps and smoke salmon mousse to pink chocolate-dipped strawberries and pink truffles—created by executive chef Mark Strausman of Fred’s at Barneys.
