 The Voltaic Generator Looks Surprisingly Ungeeky If you have a laptop, why not charge it up on your way to the office? The latest in solar powered gear is the Voltaic Generator, a laptop bag which comes in different color schemes. Allegedly this is the first solar bag which is powerful enough to charge your laptop, using high efficiency solar cells. Not only does it charge your laptop, but it can also charge your mobile phone and other hand-held electronics. Even the fabric of this bag is made from recycled soda bottles, which makes the surface brilliantly tough and water resistant.  Solar panel generates up to 15 watts using 20% efficienct cells, enough to fully charge the Voltaic battery in about 5 hours. The included battery pack stores the equivalent of a typical laptop charge and automatically delivers the required output voltages.
