Lucasfilms Debuts 'The Clone Wars' on Cartoon Network|
Tonight marks the Cartoon Network debut of the Lucasfilm Animation’s kid-friendly Star Wars spinoff series ‘The Clone Wars.’ In sparkling HD fashion, familiar characters Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Ahsoka Tano do battle against the Dark Side. ‘The Clone Wars’ will air on Fridays in the Cartoon Network’s coveted 9:00 PM timeslot. Beginning October 10, the Cartoon Network will show a repeat of the prior week’s episode at 8:30 PM before airing a brand new episode at 9:00. Tonight, Cartoon Network airs two episodes: “Ambush” and “Rising Malevolence.” In “Ambush,” Jedi Master Yoda is ambushed by Count Dooku as he ventures on a clandestine mission to create a treaty with the King of Toydaria. In the following Cartoon Network episode of ‘The Clone Wars,’ Anakin and Ahsoka must save Jedi Master Plo Koon after a secret Separatist weapon threatens the clone Starfleet. Via: cartoonnetwork |
