Dashboard cameras are a smart way to keep oneself protected from all sorts of potential hazards that occur after car accidents or traffic violations, and the three new Car and Driver dashboard cams being unveiled at CES 2017 make that protection more effective than ever. The new models offer high definition recording in a slim casing, making them both unobtrusive and effective for recording action on the roads.

The three new Car and Driver dashboard cams at CES 2017 are the CDC-620, CDC-618, and CDC-622. The 620 and 618 offer virtually the same features, with the 618 merely having a slightly smaller screen and lower photo resolution for still images. The 622 comes with a complete entertainment hub, including Wi-Fi, GPS, and SIM card support. All three models offer 1080p HD video, an expandable SD card memory, and 30 fps recording.
