The Nicholas Hanna Candle Light Project is full of flair, with dazzling flames illuminating a room for an eery effect.

The project is a collaboration between Niu Miao and Nicholas Hanna, and consists of a candle in a box covered with sensors that sample the light, and then turn on cold-cathode light tubes set up around the room. The 3D cross section of the light is amplified to fill the room, so any visitor that walks inside will feel the full effect of candle light, but in an enhanced manner.

The Nicholas Hanna Candle Light Project ingeniously puts to use 3 km of wire, 182 sensors and a corresponding number of light tubes to give this impressive, illuminating result. Stats for Fiery Flame Installations Trending: Older & Chilly
