Bullet proof bras have been added to the standard gear for female police officers in Germany. This is in addition to bullet proof vests.

Since bras sometimes have metal or plastic parts, a bullet could hit the bra and still kill the officer. This new issue has no buttons or fasteners. How does this work? Perhaps they are surgically installed? The protection is provided by cotton, polyester, spandex and polyamide.

So far, there has been no mention if guys are getting bullet proof cups.
