Shake Shack Has Released a Spiced Buffalo Sandwich and Buffalo Fries

Shake Shack has debuted two new items to end January, the 'Buffalo Chicken Sandwich,' and the 'Buffalo Spiced Fries.' These items launch on January 28, 2022 for walk-in orders, though Shake Shack is offering early access to this spicy menu for consumers who order through the 'Shack App.'

The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich features a hand-breaded chicken tossed in Buffalo sauce that is lightly fried to golden-brown. The sandwich is topped with ranch sauce, pickles, and shredded lettuce, and the bun is lightly toasted. As opposed to traditional, buttery Buffalo sauces, Shake Shack's Buffalo sauce boasts a stronger, more vinegary taste.

The Buffalo Spiced Fries are fried and served in a dish where the customer can choose to receive just the Buffalo seasoning sprinkled on top, or to add on a melted cheese sauce as well as the seasoning. These fries are served with a side of ranch dip.
