If you were to come across the Brick Lamp without an explanation, you might assume that it's a paperweight or a carefully crafted piece of masonry. Meticulously assembled without wires or switches, this contemporary light begins as a marvellous mystery before proving itself so practical.

HCWD Studio crafts a basic wooden core before casting it in concrete and applying an aluminum sheet. The final result is a homogenous and minimalist piece that exudes modern elegance and captivating simplicity. In shape, it bears no resemblance to any light fixture you've ever seen. The rectangular form was designed to be rested bright side down on a table, remaining off until you lift one side away from the surface. Balance it on its beveled edge to direct diffuse illumination.
