Transparent phones may become a thing of the future as evidenced by the Brick concept phone. Brick is a slim and sleek phone designed by Shaocheng Huang and Yuyin Huang. The phone is transparent, looks good and adds an extra layer of functionality.

The transparent display of the Brick concept phone can be used to do a variety of things. The entire back of the phone can function as a camera, letting you photograph anything you see. The transparent display can also be used as a magnifying glass or text translator. The touchscreen is the latest and greatest mobile creation, but that technology seems to have peaked. The future of the smartphone is up in the air, but I wouldn't be shocked to see the iPhone 5 or 6 have some sort of transparency feature.
