The Breathe Air bike helmet was developed by a university student in the UK to provide head protection to cyclists and act as an air filter. The helmet was created to help alleviate symptoms of asthma and hay fever by filtering out irritating particles.
So far, the helmet is just a concept, although the student is looking for a manufacturer. The target price is roughly $200.
It may look like something out of The Return of the Jedi, but this helmet could help cyclists to breathe more easily, according to its designer. The “Breathe Air” helmet was created to filter out particles that irritate hay fever and asthma sufferers.
