As the sun peaks over the horizon, as the light floods into a room as the door opens, that is “Burning Freedom”. Bora Kim’s unique concept vehicle stretches (quite appropriately) into what concept designers often miss: the fact that it may never be a reality. For Bora Kim, Burning Freedom is “darkness and desire, eternal sunshine, the road to realization, and collision of senses.” Bora’s outlook on the concept is dream-like, and the car is like a dream. The outer shell is made of transparent and semi-transparent pieces that possess no colour while stationary. Upon movement, the reflection of light fully illuminates that car with an array of colours.
