This Frankfurt preview of the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics concept gives me hope that the era of the badass, mean sportscar hasn't completely given way to the smiley lines of today's cutesy eco cars. The aggressive lines of this automobile will quake any gearhead's knees, and it's just a concept.
The BMW Vision EfficientDynamics plug-in turbodiesel may be a hybrid, but this is no piddling Smart car. Autoblog says that the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics was designed to deliver the power and performance of an M3 with significantly improved fuel economy. And how: BMW says that the Vision EfficientDynamics will go from 0-62 mph in 4.8 seconds and still get 62.6 mpg.
