While there are a lot of bionic innovations for people, what we don’t really see in science news are innovations for animals. A Maltese puppy has been fortunate enough to have David Turnbill, a generous orthotist, build her a pair of bionic legs. Although Hope was born without frontal limbs, she has learned to maneuver like on around on the wheeled paws which Turnbill made of model airplane parts.
