Panda Express has debuted two Beyond Beef meals following the success of its Beyond Chicken meals released late last year. This marks the continuation of the business partnership between Panda Express and Beyond Meats. The two meals, which are 'Mapo Tofu with Beyond Beef' and 'String Beans with Beyond Beef,' will be available at Panda Express's Innovation Kitchen location in Pasadena, CA.
The Mapo Tofu meal features spicy tofu and Beyond Beef bites that have been tossed in a Sichuan garlic sauce and served on top of steamed white rice. This plating results in the flavor of the spicy tofu and Beyond Beef absorbing into the rice, making every bite flavorful. The second meal, the String Beans meal, features a savory garlic sauce for those who are not fans of spicy foods.
