The Bergdorf Goodman Spring Collection features bright and elegant floor-length gowns, modeled by the ever graceful Marie Piovesan. The majority of the gowns use a mermaid-like design, in which the bodice cinches in at the waist, flares out a bit, then cinches in again at the ankles.

The colors used in this collection are varied, but all are rich and vibrant. The more eye-catching and brightest dress is a chic orange number that looks so red carpet-ready that it seems only right for a celebrity to wear. Its jeweled design adds a little bling to the outfit, similar to the jeweled designs featured on the other dresses in this collection.

Another dress that really grabs the eye is a black, floor-length gown with a long train and a peplum waist. This strapless dress is absolutely stunning; a more elaborate take on the classic little black dress.

With this collection, Bergdorf Goodman is sure to attract a lot of prom-goers and formal event invitees. The bright colors, flattering shapes and elegant lines make this line the perfect formalwear style for summer.
